EDA - Economic Development Authority

Eyota EDA was established on December 1, 1990 by resolution.

Members are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council.

There are five (5) members and two (2) council representatives, they serve six (6) year terms.

Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm, at the Eyota Fire Hall.

Eyota is a fast growing community 10 miles east of Rochester. The population has increased during the last ten years. A new industrial park, a new county park four miles west of the city, a rail system with spurs, an excellent school system makes the area ripe for new business and industry.
